Born and raised in Broward County, Florida, samoffthemap (Samuel De La Rosa) is a Colombian American DJ/producer carving out his own lane in the underground house scene. His sound blends minimal, deep tech, and groove driven house/tech house with rolling basslines, infectious rhythms, and carefully crafted energy designed for late night dance floors. Influenced by artists like Beltran, Sidney Charles, Brunello, and Mau P, samoffthemap approaches every set with a focus on groove, tension, and crowd connection rather than following trends. Whether performing in intimate venues or warehouse spaces, his goal is simple. To create memorable moments through music that keeps people moving from start to finish. Outside of DJing, samoffthemap is building a creative identity inspired by early 2000s digital culture, futuristic visuals, and modern streetwear. His music and visual direction reflect a world that’s nostalgic yet forward thinking, giving listeners an experience that extends beyond the dance floor. His performance experience includes appearances at M2 Nightclub Miami Beach, multiple shows at the Local Art Club in Wynwood, pop up warehouse raves, and college dive bars. Internationally, he has performed in Medellin, Colombia continuing to grow his reach beyond South Florida. Most recently, samoffthemap played the closing set for Cozy Gardnz, marking his first headlining performance and another milestone as he continues building his name within the underground electronic music scene.
